Pourwall’s referral program is made for bar and brewery operators, not marketers. If you refer another venue that signs up for Pourwall Premium with your code and pays, you both get a free month credited to your accounts.

What is Pourwall’s referral program?

Pourwall lets you share your referral code with another bar, brewery, or restaurant. When a new operator signs up for Premium and uses your code during signup, both you and the new customer get one free month’s credit on your plan.

Who qualifies for Pourwall referral rewards?

Referral credits are only given if your code is used during account signup by a brand-new, paying Premium customer*. Referred customers must:

• Never have had a Pourwall account before.
• Subscribe to Pourwall Premium at signup.
• Enter your referral code when creating their account.

How does the referral code process work?

When someone wants to sign up, there’s a Referral Code field on the signup form. For a referral to count, your code needs to be entered there when the new account is created. This can be prefilled (if the code was in the URL when they arrived) or added manually—but it must be present at the moment of account creation.

What if someone clicks your code but signs up later?

If someone clicks a referral URL (which only fills in the code), leaves the page, and then comes back another day to sign up—without the code filled in—the referral does not count. Pourwall does not look back at cookies or previous browsing sessions. The code must be present in the Referral Code field at account creation, or there is no referral.

What do you and the referred bar receive?

If a new venue signs up with your code:

• The referred venue receives one free month immediately when their Premium account is created with a valid referral code.
• The referrer receives one free month only after the referred venue completes their first paid billing cycle and remains active and in good standing.

Referral credits apply to future invoices only and cannot be exchanged for cash.

How are referral credits issued?

Credits are added automatically in your billing portal. If your invoice is less than your credit, the balance rolls over as long as your account is still active. Each credit is equal to one free month of your current paid plan, based on your region and pricing.

You can refer as many new bars or breweries as you want. Credits wait for you if you pause your account, but will only apply to future bills once you become active again.

Rules and safeguards

Referrals only work when:

• The code is in the Referral Code field at account signup.
• The referred customer is new and paying.
• No self-referrals or duplicate/fake accounts are involved.

Pourwall checks for:

• Matching emails, payment details, or suspicious activity.
• Fraud or manipulation. Accounts may be reviewed before rewards are issued.
• Credit is not issued if the referred venue cancels or downgrades before their first billing cycle ends.
• Pourwall may withhold, revoke, or cancel referral credits if abuse or violation is found.
• Program terms can change or end at any time.

• Tell them to enter your code (or confirm it appears) during signup.
• Show the benefit: “We got a free month just for getting started.”
